Postulancy is the second stage. This usually lasts 6 months, living in the formation house and sharing the work of the community.
This period is to foster the growth of the Postulant in terms of his personal maturity and life of faith, and to accompany him as he discerns his vocation as a Brother of St. John of God.
There are some studies to develop the postulant’s faith and sacramental life, and to know more about the Order and its rich heritage.
