PRAYER TO OUR LADY - 01:

PRAYER OF CONSECRATION OF THE FAMILY OF SAINT JOHN OF GOD TO MARY ‘QUEEN OF HOSPITALITY'

O Mary, Mother of all the living,

to You we consecrate anew

Our Hospitaller Family under the title ‘Queen of Hospitality’.

We are men and women, religious and lay people,

who participate in the same Charism of Hospitality

transmitted to us by our Father, Saint John of God.

Help us to welcome it as your gift too

and to bear witness to it to the women and men of our time.

May Your maternal protection

the example of your life

be a source of inspiration and encouragement

for all of us who form the Family of Saint John of God,

so that we may be a sign of communion

forming a bond of love in hHospitality.

Take under your maternal care all those who

come to us in their time of vulnerability and need.

At this critical time show us the path to follow so that

we can meet and serve

the suffering and needy people of our time

through a renewed spirit of Hospitality.

Get us the grace

to build a better world,

be defenders of life,

lovers of truth,

signs of hope,

bearers of the Good News to all.

Amen.

PRAYER TO OUR LADY - 02:

PRAYER TO MARY FOR VOCATIONS

O Virgin Mary,

Mother of Jesus and Mother of the Church,

to you we commend our young people,

in particular those called to closely follow your Son.

You know the difficulties, the struggles, the obstacles they face.

Assist them to answer “Yes” to the divine call,

as you did at the invitation of the angel.

Draw them near to your heart

so that they can understand the beauty and the joy that awaits them

when the Lord Jesus calls them into his intimacy

to be witnesses of His Love in the world.

Amen.

THE MEMORARE

Remember,

O most compassionate Virgin Mary,

that never was it known

that anyone who fled to your protection,

implored your assistance,

or sought your intercession,

was left unaided.

Inspired with this confidence,

we fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, our Mother.

To you we come, before you we stand,

sinful and sorrowful.

O Mother of the Word Incarnate,

despise not our petitions,

but in your clemency, hear and answer them.

Amen.
